CocoRosie

I saw a poster on the street the other day that one of my favourite bands are coming to Melbourne.
I usually never get to see any bands I like, I’m either too poor or missed the boat.

Low and behold I got a ticket!!

CocoRosie is the genius music of sisters
Bianca and Sierra Casady.
It's haunting, strange and pure gold!
It's some of the only music that gives me that tingly shivery feeling when I listen to them.

I plan on painting my face coco style and hopefully can take some pics to report back!!

Swarm

Always an admirer of the reclaimed and upcycled I love the way Leslie Oschmann from Amsterdam uses old painting canvases and other objects from markets, upcycleing them into a tote bags and furniture.

The dusty colours and half finished edges give them a wonderful raw and warm feel.

I really like the cabinet with what looks like a cross stich half completed. I like collecting half completed ones from the op shop myself, not sure what i'll do with them yet.

The perfect tea party!

I have started collecting tea cups and other cute china wear from op shops, with a fabulous tea party one sunny summers day in mind.

Clare from The Vintage Table has all the goods so you don't have to collect them yourself.

She has a beautiful collection of English crockery for hire ranging from the 1920' to 1960's.

This would be perfect for my tea party
and she has a washing up service as well!

Too bad she's in the U.K.
