Our Girls

Last night I ventured to Brown and Bunting a book store on the High St in Northcote to hear author Madeleine Hamilton talk about her new book
Our Girls - Aussie pin-ups of the 40s and 50s.

It was my first time going to a book talk and while I sat there with my glass of wine listening to her interesting stories of the women she interviewed I thought.... this is pretty cool!

Even cooler was she signed my book for me!

Today I ran away to the circus..

Today I ran away to the circus for a two hour aerial try before you buy session at NICA.
Wow did I suck!!
But I loved it, especially the aerial hoop and am determined to try and try again
until I'm looking like this lovely lady below!

Treasures!

Here are some of my country op-shop finds over the holidays!
I LOVE country op-shops as they are gold mines for lining fabric for my Mina + Oli bags!

I also picked up these tea towels that are too cute to cut up. I'm not sure if they are so cute they should be hung on the wall or just used in kitchen?
What do you think?

All the fabrics get a wash on a lovely sunny day
